Robert Bayliss & Brooke McLeod together have over 35 years in the food service industry. Robert attended culinary school at Grand Rapids Community College. Over the years he has worked in virtually every capacity of food service from wait staff, bartender, sous chef, head chef, to managing local restaurants. Robert also managed a fine dining establishment on the banks of the Madison River in Montana for an extended period of time, wherein guests were catered to on an individualized basis by meal. Brooke is a Registered Nurse, working locally in her community. While she has had several years of experience assisting Robert in the kitchen, her specialty has always been serving and bartending for local restaurants or while catering across Northern Michigan. Together, Robert and Brooke will ensure your event goes off without a hitch while you relax and enjoy your family and/or guests. They developed Nature’s Plate as the culmination of their expertise and experience.
Their vision is to provide the ultimate dining experience for you and your guests while enjoying locally sourced whole foods. Nature’s Plate has arrangements with local farmers who can supply beef, pork, poultry, and a large variety of vegetables on a seasonal basis. The ingredients that are not sourced locally are chosen with care to ensure the highest quality. Their service is second to none beginning with the planning stages, continuing as they greet your guests, and lasting through clean up. Your space will be back to normal with no signs the event has taken place.
I have recently experienced a delicious meal cooked by chef Robert Bayliss and Nature's Plate. It was a feast of fresh meats and vegetables that all came together and blended well. The color presentation and individual flavors were excellent. Left me dreaming of the leftovers in the fridge!
